This says what McBean Builders LLC collects about you, why, and who else sees it. It is short because we collect very little.
The short version. We keep your email address, what you have answered, and enough to sign you in safely. We never see your card details — Stripe handles payment on its own pages. We do not sell or share your information, and there are no advertising trackers or analytics on this site.

We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or date of birth, and we do not collect your licence details.
Payment is handled by Stripe on pages Stripe hosts. Your card number never reaches our servers and we could not store it if we wanted to. We receive only the identifiers Stripe gives us and the status of your subscription. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what it does with your payment information.
Only the services we need to run this, and only for that purpose:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the service against abuse.
One cookie, and it does one thing: it keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by JavaScript and it is not used to follow you anywhere. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers on this site. The site also stores a note in your browser of which section you were last on, which never leaves your device.
Traffic is encrypted. Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored hashed, so a copy of our database is not a set of working keys to anyone's account. Card details are not ours to lose. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise.

California residents have rights over their personal information, including the right to know what is collected, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. The list above is how you use them here.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California privacy law, and we have not in the past twelve months. There is therefore nothing to opt out of, and no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, because we do neither.
This service is for adults seeking a contractor licence and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and if the change is significant we will tell you by email.
